Donald Trump made headlines when he said he was boycotting Fox News, a move that lasted about 10 minutes.

But, another GOP candidate might be boycotting a cable news station, but doing so quietly.

Remember when Donald Trump launched a boycott against Fox News, promising not to appear on their air?

Yeah, the boycott that lasted about as long as holding your breath under water.

So what happened?

Former Fox CEO Barry Diller spoke with Bloomberg's Erik Schatzker and when the subject of Donald Trump came up, Diller did not mince words.

When WBBM parted ways with Anchor Kate Sullivan and replaced her with Irika Sargent, Sullivan was quickly removed from the air.

A large number of viewers reached out to Sullivan on social media to voice their displeasure with her firing and to wish her well.

Sullivan took to Facebook to say goodbye, answer some questions and talk about her uncertain future.
