Washed-up TV anchor, two-time election loser, election-denier, and the person that tried to kill public media, Kari Lake, has two awards to her name that many people don’t know about.

Lake claims that she won two Billboard Music Awards. Who knew?

Lake has been nominated by Donald Trump to be the Ambassador to Jamaica. In talking about her nomination, the U.S. State Department posted that Kari Lake “is proud to have won two Billboard Music Awards.”

But, if you search Billboard’s database of past winners, “Kari Lake” does not appear as a Billboard Music Awards winner.

When confronted with this information, the State Department referred to a song titled “81 Million Votes My A**,” a single Lake released 3 years ago with a group called “The Truth Bombers.”

But, The Truth Bombers also NEVER won a Billboard Music Award.
