Reporters or Cheerleaders?

It appears that the Fox O&O in Philly has a clothing arrangement deal with Fanatics sports shops.

Last month, FTVLive did a story about WTXF Anchor Jason Martinez anchoring the news wearing a Philadelphia Eagles jersey.

He isn’t the only one, as this Brittany Wier wore and Eagles jacket outside the station.

And here is a Fox Philly Reporter wearing a Sixers jacket during her live shot on the NBA’s opening night.

Maybe WTXF News Director Jim Driscoll can have his crews wearing shirts and hats for local businesses while reporting on them as well.

Objectivity be dammed.
