Nexstar Anchor will Be Gone by the End of the Week

Brooke Moore, the evening co-anchor for WDTN’s (Dayton), will be leaving the station after her final newscast on Thursday. Her departure marks the end of a 15-year career with the Nexstar-owned station.

Moore is leaving her position to focus on her family.

"As most of you know, my life has changed drastically in the last year and a half," Moore said in a statement. "I married my husband, Tommy, last year, and then I gave birth to our daughter Annie last October. I’ve been so blessed to have the help of my mom and my mother-in-law who have sacrified their time to be with Annie when I’m at work. But now it’s time for me to step into the role of mom full-time.”

Moore joined WDTN in August 2010 as an associate producer. She moved to an on-air position in 2011 as a reporter for 2 NEWS Today and was promoted to co-anchor of the morning show in December 2014. In July 2017, Moore was named co-anchor of the evening newscasts, where she worked alongside Mark Allan, John Seibel, and most recently, Jack Pohl.
