This Seems To Happen a Lot at Fox News
/I have to say, I see a pattern that Fox News seems to employ quite often.
Here’s an example of what we’re talking about.
We wondered where he got the list and when we Googled the MOST healthy cities, this is the list that popped up. It relied on U.S. Census data.
So, apparently, Bongino took the list of the most healthy cities and then turned around to Fox News and reported them as the “most unhealthy” cities.
Note: We did chuckle how Irvine, California somehow became “Irving, Tx” on Bongino’s list.
After FTVLive posted the story we were sent this statement from Fox News:
“On Saturday night's episode of Unfiltered with Dan Bongino, a graphic was aired with inaccurate information on the unhealthiest cities in the country. We regret the error which will be corrected on next week’s program.”
This is what we’re talking about and it seems to happen often.
A Fox host makes some outrageous claim that is passed along to the sheep that are watching Fox News for their consumption.
Then the next night, or, in this case, the next week, the host will correct their false claim in a few-second blurb at the end of the show.
By then the false information is out there. It was highlighted on the show, despite it being wrong, and only then is it corrected at a later time with a very short few words.
How about giving the correction the same amount of time (or more) than the complete bullshit you shoved down the viewers’ throats.
How about taking some disciplinary action against the host that peddled the misinformation?
Then maybe the people working at Fox News will do some better research before putting complete nonsense on the air.
It’s easy to go on the air and say that “President Joe Biden is an alien that has sex with goats,” and then devote an entire segment to this claim. Only to come on the air next week at the bottom of the show with a quick reader noting that none of the information we told you last week was correct and we “regret the error.”
You don’t regret it, you revel in the fact that you put bullshit on the air, your followers spread that message to others, and then you just say a quick line acting like you’re sorry.
How about Fox News release this statement, “On Dan Bongino’s show he reported on something that he completely made up, isn’t close to being fact and Fox News has now suspended the host for the next month”?
Maybe then the Fox News talent will understand you need to report facts and not some shit you made up.
