More Praise for Dear Leader....

It seems the staff at CNN just can’t deal with the fact that Jeff Zucker has been ousted.

While many in the rank and file continue to tell FTVLive that they are happy to see Zucker gone from the network that he turned from a news operation, to a punch line, the CNN stars are still grieving.

WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar held another meeting with the staff to try and come the kids down, when CNN host Alisyn Camerota stood up and compared Zucker’s being fired to the death penalty.

Jeff Zucker is not dead.

Zucker was fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate, along with losing nearly 90% of the viewership of CNN.

Instead of whining about their “dear leader” being sacked, maybe someone should be asking “what the hell took so long?”

CNN’s media critic Brian Stelter continued to tweet out love messages from CNN’s stars reacting to Zucker’s firing.

"He pushed us hard to be aggressive but fair.”

Really?

Is there anyone watching CNN that thinks CNN is fair?

CNN is not fair, just in the way that Fox News is not fair. CNN caters to the left and it was Jeff Zucker that moved them hard in that direction.

Washington Post Reporter Jermy Barr reports that Stelter told Kilar, "We have to move on, and I don't understand why you, Jason, are not helping the 4,000 employees move on. ... When are we going to move on? ... I kind of think, Jason, you need to pick us off the mat and shake us off and get us back to work."

Ummmmm? I agree you need to move on, so, stop whining that Zucker is gone and do the job you were hired to do.

Then again, Brian Stelter was hired to be the mouthpiece of Jeff Zucker, so, I’m not really sure what his job is now.

I’m not arguing that as a CNN “star” Jeff Zucker might not have been a good boss to work for. But, that doesn’t make him a good journalist or leader of a network.

Kids might love the teacher that gives no homework, has them watch movies all day in class, and pretty much lets them do what they want. That doesn’t mean they are a good teacher.

Just saying….
