Will Chris Cuomo stay or will he go?

That is the question many inside and outside CNN are asking.

One big rumor is that former NBC News Anchor and MSNBC host Brian Williams could be hired to takeover Cuomo’s spot at CNN.

Williams recently announced that he was leaving MSNBC and he and Jeff Zucker both worked together at the Peacock.

Of course, it would be nice that if CNN does replace Fredo, that they add a woman to the primetime lineup, which is something they don’t have and haven’t had under Zucker.

One name that is being kicked around is Alisyn Camerota.

Although Camerota has basically been demoted by Zucker at CNN, so I really don’t think that is going to happen.

Speaking of Camerota, why hasn’t she spoken up publicly about Cuomo, who is being accused of contacting media to smear female victims and kill stories?

Camerota was very outspoken about Fox News and their problems in dealing with women. She even went to far as to call Fox News “rotten to the core.”

But not a peep out of her on the Cuomo saga.

Word is that Jake Tapper is lobbying strongly for Cuomo’s gig and he is one of the few that has spoken publicly against Cuomo’s actions.

He is also another middle-aged white male, which seems to be in Jeff Zucker’s wheelhouse.

BriWi also fits that mold.
