After 44 years in TV news and nearly 3 decades at WDIV in Detroit, Steve Garagiola is calling it a career.

Garagiola began his career at Lansing's WILX in 1977. He joined WDIV in 1995 as a sports reporter, but quickly switched to news after covering the bombing of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
