WPVI in Philadelphia is a ratings powerhouse and has been for decades. The ABC O&O is one of those stations where you can find a number of people that have been with the station for years and years.

Basically, WPVI just knows what works and they stick with the formula. Looking at the newscasts, you certainly would not think that the broadcast is flashy or slick.

At WPVI, more often than not, the content is king.
