It appears that the TV consolidation is continuing….

Word is that Meredith Broadcasting is looking for potential buyers for their 17 TV stations.

Reuters reports that Meredith is discussing its plans with financial advisers and has already received interest in its stations from private equity firm Apollo Global Management LLC, the sources said.

While groups like Scripps, Nexstar, Tegna and Sinclair have been buying up stations, Meredith has sat on the sidelines and has become a very small fish in a very large pond.

Both Meredith and Apollo declined comment.
