Talking Smack

FTVLive pointed you to a story the other day on an interview that CNN’s Chris Cuomo did with the Hollywood Reporter.

Just about every soundbite from Cuomo was him taking a shot at someone else.

That included NBC’s Chuck Todd, whom Cuomo said, “Chuck Todd ain’t Jake Tapper.”

No, Todd is not Jake Tapper, Todd has much bigger ratings and works for a real news network and not CNN.

Todd did not let Cuomo’s comments lay, he responded with, “I just read it as somebody who wanted to defend that fact that nobody in broadcast television wanted to hire him, I guess, or he couldn’t get the job that he wanted,” he said. “I don’t know what it was, but he was awfully defensive so he took shots at other people.”

It’s not everyday that we agree with Chuck Todd, but we agree with Chuck Todd.

It is here that we should point out that Cuomo’s show is dead last in the cable news ratings in its time slot.

Maybe that is another reason he is so defensive.
