Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Goodyear, AZ police clamped the cuffs on KPHO Reporter Jonathan Lowe, after they said that he relieved himself in public.
The story was the talk inside the Phoenix newsrooms and two competing stations had video of Lowe being lead away in handcuffs by police.
Sources tell FTVLive that a memo was sent to the staff KPNX telling them not to to use the video on air.
KNXV staffers debated whether to cover the story or not?
In the end, no station, including Lowe's covered the story.
But, if the Mayor of Goodyear or Phoenix was arrested for pooping in public, would those stations have covered the story?
So, why when a public figure like Lowe is arrested, did stations sit on the news?
Yesterday, after FTVLive broke the news, Lowe blocked access to his Twitter account.
