From OKC to the Twin Cities

KTSP (Minneapolis) announced that they have hired KOCO (Oklahoma City) Anchor Paul Folger as their new main Anchor.

“We could not be happier to welcome Paul to our news family,” said Anne Wittenborg, News Director for 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS. “Paul’s dedication to local news and his eagerness to be a part of our community makes him a perfect fit for our team!”

Folger is currently a news anchor at KOCO, the ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Paul will be anchoring the 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts for 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS.

“I am honored to be a part of KSTP, a station with an amazing legacy,” Folger said. “I am all in! I love the Twin Cities, and I can’t wait to meet all of our viewers.”

Folger began his career with KOCO in 2008. Prior to that, Paul anchored at WTEV in Jacksonville, Florida. He also was a reporter at KDAF in Dallas, and was a weekend anchor/reporter for WCTI in New Bern, North Carolina.

He starts at the station August 1st.
