This should not come as a surprise to anyone, but WTSP News Director Bob Clinkingbeard has parted ways with the Tegna station.

Sources told FTVLive that this was coming very soon and as we were digging for some more solid information, this memo went out to the staff and was obtained by FTVLive:

Team 10,

This morning, I accepted News Director, Bob Clinkingbeard’s resignation. His last day at WTSP will be Thursday, October 5th. Jessika Lewis will be the point of contact for news related matters in the interim and of course I am always available as well, for anything you may need.

We appreciate Bob’s contributions and we wish him the best for the future.
