Retiring Denver Anchor to Sell Furniture

So what is life after a long career in TV news?

For KUSA Denver Anchor Adele Arakawa it is shilling furniture.

After years of telling viewers the news, now she's going to try and sell them furniture.

Arakawa is now the "brand ambassador" for Furniture chain Furniture Row Companies.

"Becoming brand ambassador provides a wonderful transition for me. I am able to step away from the news desk and into one of the most exciting and anticipated events of the summer — the grand opening of The Showroom @Furniture Row," Arakawa said in a statement.

The Showroom's lead gallery buyer and spokesperson Amy Foster agrees, "We are thrilled to have Adele as part of our team. Her signature style, approachability, and commitment to excellence are perfectly aligned with our brand values and promise. It's hard to imagine anyone better suited to generate interest in and excitement for Denver's ultimate luxury home furniture shopping and design experience."

So, for those of you wondering if there is life after TV news, the answer could be what you're sitting on right now.
