A Personal Note and Apology....
/I have called out many people on this website for making very stupid and dumb mistakes.
Today, I need to call out myself and offer up a very sincere apology.
NAHJ Condemns Donald Trump for Kicking Out Reporter
/At another Trump circus stop....errrrrrr....press conference yesterday, Univision Journalist Jorge Ramos was escorted out after trying to ask Trump questions.
Here's the video of Ramos being booted.

— William Garbe (@wgarbe) August 25, 2015
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists condemned Trump for his actions. “Mr. Ramos was doing what journalists have done for decades – asking questions!,” said Mekahlo Medina, NAHJ President. “Ramos was simply trying to hold a candidate for president accountable for statements he made about a very important topic to the American people. Mr. Trump has avoided Mr. Ramos’ attempts for an interview to reasonably discuss Mr. Trump’s opinions and ideas about immigration and American children born to undocumented immigrants.”
Ramos was allowed back into the news conference after several other reporters questioned Trump on why Ramos was ejected. Ramos was then allowed to ask questions.
The HAHJ also adds that Trump’s recent attacks on FOX News anchor Megyn Kelly are unacceptable and disturbing.
CNN Bumps Anderson Cooper Special for Donald Trump
/CNN once again showed just how obsessed they are with Donald Trump.
Anderson Cooper has been working very hard on a 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina special that was slated to air last night.
CNN was billing Cooper's special as a deeply personal journey where "Cooper observes the tenacity of the survivors who continue to struggle every day, grieving for loved ones while trying to rebuild their lives."
But then CNN decided "screw that" we have more Donald Trump crap.
The network could not even tear themselves away from Trump to look back on one of the worst disasters to hit our country.
It seems that the new "Storm that will never stop" is Donald Trump....at least according to CNN.
Trump Praised Kelly as a Moderator in 2011
/When Fox News Anchor Megyn Kelly was asking the questions in 2011, Donald Trump thought she was "doing a great job."
Back in 2011, Trump sat down with Kelly and talked about him hosting a Republican debate. The Trump hosted debate never happened, but watch this exchange will Kelly and notice how much Trump has changed his tune:
Addicted to Donald Trump
/This would be very funny, if it wasn't so true:
Sources: DC Station to Eliminate Sports Director's Job
/Sources tell FTVLive that WTTG (DC) Sports Director, Scott Smith, was called into the ND’s office and told his position is being eliminated.
Word is that News Director Paul McGonagle said they’re ‘de-emphasizing traditional sports’, and therefore no need for a sports director at the Fox O&O.
Our source says that Smith has 3 months left and then he's out the door.
Maybe he can land a job across the street at WJLA, we know what that job pays.
Stay tuned....
DC Station Ups Freelance Sports Reporter to Full Time
/While WTTG appears to be pulling back on their sports coverage, WRC is beefing up their sports team.
Carol Maloney who has been freelancing at WRC for the past 3 years has inked a full time deal with the station.
Bringing Maloney on full time continues WRC’s tradition of staffing its own sports department with multiple reporters, even as some other NBC affiliate stations have turned to regional Comcast networks for their sports report.
Maloney will join Jason Pugh as full-time sports anchor/reporters for the station, while WTOP’s Dave Johnson and others will continue to contribute to the station.
“We’re as committed to sports as we’ve ever been,” Mike Goldrick, WRC’s news director, said in an interview. “We still believe that our viewers are looking to us for sports, and so that’s why we’re going to maintain our strength with our team. That’s why we’ve got Carol, and that’s why we’ve got Jason. We want to have some high-profile folks. Carol’s been in the market for a long time; we think people know her, we think people like her, and I think it’s a strong move for us.”

ESPN Suspends Analyst Over Tweet
/Another ESPN talent has crossed the line and is now sitting on the bench.
Former MLB star pitcher and now Baseball Analyst for ESPN Curt Schilling has been suspended by the network after sending a controversial tweet Tuesday.
The tweet re-posted a meme that reads: "It's said only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists. In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How'd that go?"
The text was superimposed of a red-tinted photo of Adolf Hitler.
Schilling added, "The math is staggering when you get to true #'s."
Schilling also shared the photo on Facebook, where the original post links to a video about the end times.
"Curt's tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company's perspective," ESPN said in a written statement. "We made that point very strongly to Curt and have removed him from his current Little League assignment pending further consideration."
At first Schilling didn't back off from his post, but eventually he said it was wrong to post the meme.

Hannity Stuck Between a Rock and Donald Trump
/Sean Hannity removed his lips from Donald Trump's ass long enough to try and tow the Fox News company line.
After Fox News boss Roger Ailes blasted Trump in a statement defending his star Anchor Megyn Kelly, many other Fox News personalities have been sticking up for Kelly as well.
The big two at Fox News used to be Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, but ever since Megyn Kelly burst onto the prime time scene, Hannity has been moved to the back burner and is basically and afterthought at best.
So how did Hannity handle Trump's latest attacks on Megyn Kelly?
With a tweet that basically fawned over Trump with a quick P.S. leave Megyn alone:
It's not like Megyn Kelly needs Sean Hannity to have her back, she can and is doing fine without him. In fact, Hannity should have just shut his mouth, or at least put it back on Trump's backside, where he seems most comfortable.
Just saying....
The View Goes Back to the Future
/It looks like ABC's The View is headed back to the future as the struggling show tries a few last gasps to stay afloat.
ABC announced that Joy Behar is returning to the as it enters its 19th season.
In the announcement, ABC News called Behar “one of the most-beloved personalities in the talk show’s history having co-hosted for seasons 1-16,” adding, ” While equally at ease performing standup comedy or interviewing politicians and celebrities, Behar brings honesty, humor, irreverence, with an authentic and intelligent point of view on every topic.”
“Just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in,” said Behar. “And I’m looking forward to sticking my two cents into the hot topics, especially now that Hillary and the Donald are in the spotlight.”
In addition to Behar, ABC News confirmed Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris are joining the panel of regular co-hosts on the show. That’s in addition toWhoopi Golderg, Raven-Symone, and Michelle Collins.

Roger Ailes Fires Back at Trump
/As Popeye used to say, "I had all I can stands and I can't stands no more."
You can put Fox News boss Roger Ailes in the same camp as Popeye. Ailes is done standing back and letting Donald Trump attack his golden girl Megyn Kelly.
After Trump went on another Twitter rant against Kelly, Ailes has spoken out. Fox News released this statement from the Fox News kingpin:
“Donald Trump's surprise and unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly during her show last night is as unacceptable as it is disturbing. Megyn Kelly represents the very best of American journalism and all of us at FOX News Channel reject the crude and irresponsible attempts to suggest otherwise. I could not be more proud of Megyn for her professionalism and class in the face of all of Mr. Trump’s verbal assaults. Her questioning of Mr. Trump at the debate was tough but fair, and I fully support her as she continues to ask the probing and challenging questions that all presidential candidates may find difficult to answer. Donald Trump rarely apologizes, although in this case, he should. We have never been deterred by politicians or anyone else attacking us for doing our job, much less allowed ourselves to be bullied by anyone and we’re certainly not going to start now. All of our journalists will continue to report in the fair and balanced way that has made FOX News Channel the number one news network in the industry.”
