KNXV is parting ways to Anchor Yetta Gibson.

Gibson has been at the station for less than a year and has worked at just about every station in the Phoenix market.

Back in May of last year, FTVLive told you that Gibson was leaving as Morning Anchor at KTVK.  At the time Gibson said she wanted to "spend more time with her family."

It appear that 3 months was more than enough time with the family and she landed a job with KNXV across the street in August of last year.

But now, 10 months later she is leaving that job.

Here is the internal email that was sent to the staff from GM Anita Helt:

We are saying goodbye to Yetta Gibson. We appreciate all the time and energy she has devoted to helping us launch The Now Arizona these last 12 months. She has also been a key player in many of our station initiatives this year, including Operation Santa Claus and ABC15’s PCH Telethon. We wish Yetta the very best in her next chapter! She will be with us through Friday, June 12.  Please take a minute to say goodbye next time you see her.
