He's a WEEK News Director

FTVLive FIRST told you that ND Don Shafer was leaving WEEK (Peoria) for an ND job in San Diego. 

Now WEEK has gotten around to naming Shafer's replacement.  

Greg Schieferstein has been named news director at the station. 

He takes over the gig on Oct. 28.

Schieferstein previously served as executive producer for WTVG-TV, the ABC affiliate in Toledo, Ohio.
