For years, when I have talked to executives at Fox News, I would often ask, how can you keep Maria Bartiromo employed?

The one-time top-notch financial reporter gave it all away to follow and cheerlead for Donald Trump. It was sad to watch her completely sell out, yet Fox News kept her on the payroll.

I said a number of times, “You guys will finally figure it out and cut ties with Bartiromo.”

It took way too long, but Fox News finally did that, after reports claim that Bartiromo was leaking internal Fox News information to Donald Trump.

But, while Bartiromo is now off the air at Fox News, word is that she’s still getting a paycheck, and will be until her contract runs out in 2029.

In other words, the Money Honey is getting paid to sit on the beach.

Of course, Fox News tried the same tactic with Tucker Carlson, and that didn’t work out so well. Despite Fox News filing a cease and desist against Carlson, he still launched his own show on social media.

There is talk that Bartiromo is looking to lawyer up, and if that case goes to trial, you can expect to hear a lot of dirt about Fox News and Bartiromo, both. There is no way Fox wants that case to see the light of day.

If Bartiromo makes some legal waves, you can bet that Fox News will be looking to settle that case before the discovery process gets started.

In the meantime, the Money Honey is now sleeping in and getting paid to do so.
