Will You Post a Retraction?

Yesterday, FTVLive wrote a story about how KREM in Spokane, Anchor/Reporter Tim Pham went on his station branded social media and asked for people to join him and pray to Jesus.

Well, Micheal emailed us to say we need to print a retraction. Here is his email.

Let’s look at the header of Pham’s Facebook page that had the prayer request on it.

Right in the header, it shows that he is an Anchor and works at KREM.

So we sent this email back to Micheal.

Hours later, he responded while trying to cover the fact that he was wrong. It was a bunch of bullshit, but his first line said, “A description of a person’s affiliations is not representative of an account controlled by one’s employer. The title is this gentleman’s name, not his company. The First Amendment allows freedom of association and speech. Tim is noting he is an employee of KREM, not acting as an agent of.”

All I said was that he posted on his station-branded account, which it clearly is. I did not say it was his KREM account or an account owned by the station.

Apparently, Michael is not the brightest bulb in the box, or he just hated to admit that he was wrong.

Hmmmm? I know a President like that.
