Sex Toy Shuts Down DC Street, Tegna is There

Tegna’s WUSA in DC reported on a suspicious package that was left near a fire station and disrupted rush hour traffic.

It turns out that the device was a sex toy.

As the WUSA news team was discussing the story in the newsroom and trying to come up with a headlines or ideas, they were mostly being sarcastic and funny, as is often the norm in a newsroom.

Then one WUSA news staffer blurts out, “Oh man I can see that headline featured on FTVLive.”

Welp, they nailed that one.

Depending on what the sex toy was, it could have been classified as a “hard news story”
