Headed Out the Door in DC?

Tegna sources tell FTVLive that WUSA (DC) Morning Anchor Wisdom Martin’s time at the station might be coming to a close.

Sources tell FTVLive that Martin’s contract is coming up in September, and the company might not be looking to renew the deal.

Martin left Fox-owned WTTG, and sources tell FTVLive that he would often be heard bashing his old station and WTTG General Manager Patrick Paolini. He referred to Fox 5 (WTTG) often as “the evil empire”.

But you see, it wasn’t too long ago that Patrick Paolini was named the new CEO of Tegna.

Whoopsie!

We’ll have to see how Martin’s future at Tegna plays out in September.
