Together Again

FTVLive has done a number of stories on the firing (or not firing, depending on who you ask) of Nexstar's WTWO (Terre Haute) had parted ways with Meteorologist Alex Kerkhove. 

We also did a story about the interesting relationship between Kerkhove and WTWO Chief Met Jesse Walker. Some inside the station, called the relationship “creepy”.

It appears that Walker and Kerkhove are still in touch, and in fact the WTWO Chief Met was involved in a sponsored facebook live with Kerkhove.

Kerkhove appears to be competing directly her old station for ad dollars and Walker is helping her in that effort. I’m not sure how WTWO feels about that, but the GM has quit the station.

As for Kerkhove, it appears that she has landed a job at the Indiana Department of Transportation. Searching the Indiana state employees database, it looks like she making around 32k a year.

Which is probably a raise compared to what Nexstar was paying her.
