News Director Quits to Join the Dark Side

For almost the past 25 years, Jessie Kane has worked as a journalist.

Most of that time, she has been in news management, including jobs as EP, Assistant ND, and News Director.

Most recently, she was the News Director at Tegna’s KREM (Spokane), but has now let that job go.

Kane is still working at KREM, but has moved to the dark side by taking a job in sales as an account executive.

The pay will like be better and the hours certainly will be better, but still, sales?

It’s like giving up your soul.
