From the Big Easy to DC

WDSU (New Orleans) Investigative Reporter Cassie Schirm signed off from the station and is headed to DC.

Word is that she will pop up on Sinclair’s WJLA in the nation’s capital.

Schirm’s photo on the wall at WDSU went missing.

It showed up later at her goodbye party.

But then later, it was back on the wall at the wall at the Hearst station.

You didn’t think Hearst was going to let her keep it, did you? They will just rip her picture out and then put the new hire’s (who likely will be younger and paid less) picture in the frame.

In today’s TV news, everyone is replaceable and for less money as well.
