Another One Leaves the Business
/Same story, different week.
Another familiar face in local television news is preparing to say goodbye to the industry. Katie Morse, morning co-anchor for WKBW, the Scripps-owned station in Buffalo, announced on social media Tuesday that she will be departing "Good Morning Buffalo" in two weeks.
Morse is transitioning to a new role as the vice president of marketing and communications at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Morse has spent the last 12 years at the station.
"I’m incredibly grateful to the station’s leadership, my amazing colleagues and our loyal viewers for allowing me to live my dream," Morse said. "It has truly been an honor to say, 'Good Morning Buffalo' to you each day."
