Gray Media Employee Works 96 Days Straight

I have worked 4,869 Days in a row at FTVLive.com. The last time I took a day off was February 28, 2013.

But, I will add, that I work for myself and when you are a one person company, you feel the need to keep pushing.

At Gray’s KAIT (Jonesboro, Arkansas), Anchor Chris Hudgison has worked for 96 straight days.

While I commend Hudgison for his dedication, I say SHAME on Gray for letting it happen.

Meteorologist Micah Stevens posted about Hudgison’s marathon shift on Facebook. I would not be surprised in the suits at Gray make him pull the post down, as it makes the company look awful.

I will say, if I was a News Director, Chris Hudgison would be someone who I would look at hiring. Obviously, the guy is a hard worker and not afraid to pay his dues.

But, if I did hire him, I would make sure he had more than a few days off.
