Fired Nexstar Employee is Asking for Help

Brad Brown worked for Nexstar’s WJW (Cleveland) for more than a decade. On April 7th, the company told him his services were no longer needed.

Brown, whose wife was pregnant, found himself out of work, all thanks to Nexstar’s cost-cutting.

Things have not gone well for Brown and his wife. “Last week at 30 weeks pregnant, my wife was admitted to the hospital where she will remain until week 34 to give birth then our son will be in nicu for 4 to 8 weeks,” Brown told FTVLive.

As anyone who has spent a night in a hospital knows, it is damn expensive, now imagine the cost of spending weeks on end in a hospital. Not just for the mom, but the baby as well.

A GoFundMe page has been launched to help the Brown’s out. Brad knows that while times are tough for his family, he’s not the only one. “I know a lot of people are going through things,” Brown told FTVLive.
