I have applied for Dozens of Positions and Heard Nothing

Like many Journalists, Robynn Love was told her job was being eliminated and that she was being laid off.

Love has been a Journalist for 30 years, and now find herself looking for that next gig.

One problem is the fact that Love is in her 50’s. all that experience used to be an asset, but these days with companies hiring younger and cheaper, that is no longer the case.

“I have applied for dozens and dozens of positions and have not heard a single thing,” Love says in her post.

You would think that a media company would love to get someone like this in their ranks. But, the times have changed and experience means little to these companies these days.

Hopefully, there is one station out there that would love (excuse the pun) to bring Robynn Love on board.
