Ryan Elijah quit his Anchor job at WOFL in Orlando to run for Congress.

Elijah says he’s a conservative and is running for office as a Republican. So much for the liberal media that I keep hearing about.

While Elijah quit the station last month to run for office, he is still posting as “Ryan Elijah Fox 35”.

Back in April, Elijah posted that his Facebook handle would be changing and the Fox 35 would be gone from his handle. Yet, it’s still there and as he posts about his political beliefs and promotes his campaign, the Fox 35 really sticks out.

If you’re on Facebook, you can change your name in a matter of minutes, but he has yet to do so. If I were the station, I would have a big issue with this as it hurts the station’s credibility and perception of being unbiased.

Even worse, Elijah is promoting his appearance on the propaganda channel NewsMax. As a former journalist, I would never think about appearing on that cable network.

But, then again, he’s running for office and politicians aren’t really known for their integrity.
