Racism or Ignorance?

This Texas Anchor could find himself under attack by the BTS Army, and he brought it all on himself.

At Gray’s KJTV (Lubbock), Morning Anchor James Eppler was doing a story about the mash up between Oreo Cookies and the boy band BTS.

BTS is from South Korean, but judging by his comment, Eppler apparently thinks the popular group is from North Korea.

He made the comment that if you put the cookies side by side, it reads “Death to America”.

Making this even worse, word is that Eppler is the Managing Editor at the station and also works as a professor at Texas Tech’s communications school.

Viewers took to social media to post their thoughts. I’m not sure why Gray would allow this on the air? But then again, are the suits even watching?
