The First Shoe Drops at Tegna

Patrick Paolini doesn't officially start his new CEO gig at Tegna until next week, but a source tells us the first shoe has dropped.
A Tegna insider tells FTVLive that Adrienne Roark is gone from the company. “he told staff this morning on a call that lasted ten minutes,” our source says.
Roark was a head-shaking hire by Nexstar after she flamed out at CBS, not even making it a year. FTVLive predicted she would not survive after the Nexstar deal was approved, and apparently, that is the case.
More cuts in the corporate ranks are expected.
