Good Luck
/According to a job listing, Nexstar is paying $25.48 to $27.88 for a Breaking News Reporter at The Hill. For a 40 hour week it comes out to $52,994 to $57,990 a year.
The job is based in Washington D.C.
A study about cost of living by Smart Asset which is linked though, ironically, The Hill, reports $111,000 is needed for a single person to live comfortably in DC. In nearby Arlington, Virginia, it is $126,000.
How does Nexstar expect to find a quality hire, when you can’t even pay the person enough to live in the area?
Just asking…
