ToldJa!

A few days ago, FTVLive told you that Gray’s WTVM (Columbus, Georgia) put up a job listing, saying that they were looking for a Chief Meteorologist.

But, there had been no mention to the fact that Chief Meteorologist Derek Kinkade was still at the station and still working as the Chief Met.

Well. after FTVLive posted the story, the Gray station put up a story on their website, to announce, “Chief Meteorologist Derek Kinkade is leaving News Leader 9 as he prepares to transition to a career outside of local television.” What was interesting. the story posted by the station di not have any quotes from Kinkade.

What is that career outside of TV? According to the station, Kinkade is leaving to spend more time with his family.

Huh, is that a career now?
