Also, you can storm the U.S. Capitol to try and hang the Vice President and overthrow an election and that is perfect fine. In fact you can get arrested and convicted and you still get a pardon.

But, you try and help a lady that was tossed aside by ICE and you deserve to be shot and killed. No arrest, no trial, no pardon.
