"Limited opportunities for growth"

After more than 5 years at the Fox O&O in Atlanta, Reporter Brooke Zauner left the station and the business.

In a post on social media, Zaunermakes some good points about the state of local tv…and why so many have left. These companies don’t want to address these issues. 

“ The ever-changing demands of the industry, limited opportunities for growth, and the shift in the quality of the product made me start asking difficult questions.”

“ In my first week in my new role, my team asked — and continues to ask — "How can we support you? What can we do to help?" I can't help but wonder how different things might have felt if those same questions were asked consistently to those working in the newsroom.”
