Football and Free Shoes

You would not think that a TV news employee could make a college football game into an ad for shoes.

But, over at Sinclair’s KEYE (Austin) that is exactly what Weather Anchor Chikage Windler did on social media.

Does the station allow everyone at the station to get free stuff to push out of social media media, or just Chikage Windler?

Also, do payola and plugola rules still exist?
