Uncle Perry is Flying into Portland

Insiders tell FTVLive that the staff at Nexstar’s KOIN are busy cleaning up their work areas to make the place look spotless.

Nexstar CEO Perry Sook is said to be going into town, but his interest might not be on KOIN.

Tegna station KGW might be the place that has Sook focusing. Nexstar is this/close to buying up Tegna and that deal would give Uncle Perry another duopoly.

If Nexstar gets the deal done, you can bet that KOIN and KGW will be combined and staff will be let go.
