The future of the good jobs in TV news, may no longer be in TV news (Do I sound like Tegna CEO Mike Steib, or what?).

FTVLive told you how WTVA Chief Meteorologist Matt Laubhan left the Allen Media station to launch his own streaming weather product called Mississippi Live Weather.

Well, he has now made a new hire. Former WMC (Memphis) Meteorologist Maggye Jo McCallie is joining Mississippi Live Weather.

Laubhan posted about the new hire and McCallie talked about her new gig.

The talent pool for TV station is getting even more shallow, as people are finding jobs in streaming space.
