We're Canceling Our Partnership

After 14 years at WTVA, Chief Meteorologist Matt Laubhan left the Allen Media station to launch his own weather product called Mississippi Live Weather.

It is another move to hyper-local local news.

Laubhan is going very local, while Allen Media wants to hub forecasts for its stations from Atlanta.

The North Mississippi Storm Chasers and Spotters had a partnership with WTVA. But the group issues this announcement, saying they are ending the partnership and going with Laubhan’s new company.

Checking the comments and you can see the blowback against AMG as they continue to put profits before people.
