From GM to News Director

Jeff Hoffman was the General Manager at WTKR (Norfolk), before he was hired as the GM of WKMG in Orlando back in 2015.

Hoffman left the Graham Media food chain and many wonder what GM job he might pop up in next?

Hoffman has landed a new gig, but it’s not in the corner office.

In a week and a half, Hoffman becomes the new News Director of the struggling Tegna station in Cleveland.

WKYC has been a mess for quite sometime, which could be good news for Hoffman.

“There is really nowhere to go from here, but up,” said one WKYC staffer to FTVLive.

Time will tell if Hoffman can deal with no longer being the top dog at the station?
