Yesterday, in a Patron Only story we told you how Tegna had posted job openings for Marketing Producers at their 7 regional hubs.

You may remember that Tegna laid off all most all of their Creative Services people across their stations earlier this year. They then hired one person in the 7 regions to handle all the work.

Those 7 people were overworked and overwhelmed. Tegna then decided to add a second person at the hubs, which would give each hub 2 people instead of one.

A marketing executive we know applied for all 7 jobs openings and received a rejection letter with hours after applying.
