Bezos Bows to Trump (Again)

It seemed like a good idea, which brought transparency to the consumer.

Amazon was planning to display the cost of President Donald Trump’s tariffs next to the total price of products on its site. That way, buyers could see first hand how much the tariffs were costing them.

“This is a hostile and political act by Amazon,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said.

But was it?

Or was it letting consumers know where there money was going?

Anyway, Trump whined to Jeff Bezos and the plan was scrapped.

But, don’t you think this is still a good idea for TV stations? Maybe have a daily segment called “Trump’s Tariffs” and give viewers examples everyday as to what it is costing them.
