I Smell Sean McLaughlin on This One

When Sean McLaughlin worked at Scripps, the company let a lot of good Journalists go and replaced many Reporters with younger inexperienced MMJs.

Scripps had the idea of creating a new position called an “Executive Reporter.” The job of the Executive Reporter was to help the less experienced MMJs, and take them under their wing, so to speak.

McLaughlin eventually got booted from Scripps and somehow landed at Graham Media.

When I saw this job posting from WSLS (Roanoke) News Director Scott Flannigan, I couldn’t helping seeing McLaughlin’s fingerprints all over it.
