When You Update the Story

CBS News posted a story in which they headlined that a suspect was arrested in the fire at the PA Governors mansion.

Clearly this was an update to an earlier story that CBS posted. Because if you read a few paragraphs down, CBS writes this:

They have suspect arrested, but when the network updated the story, they did not pull out this paragraph.

It’s a small thing, but it is something you would not expect to see at the network level.
