Trump Targets 60 Minutes

One of the few news programs left that is not afraid of reporting negative news on Donald Trump, is once again facing Trump’s wrath.

President Trump criticized the long-running program "60 Minutes" in two Truth Social posts after it aired an episode focusing on his administration's role in the Russia-Ukraine war and Greenland annexation threats. He accused the program of "deceitful editing" during Kamala Harris' 2024 interview, claiming it influenced the election outcome. Trump is pursuing a $20 billion lawsuit against the network, which denies the allegations.

The episode featured Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who discussed tensions with Trump and Vice President JD Vance over U.S. policy on Ukraine. Zelensky expressed concerns about Vance's stance on Russian President Vladimir Putin's actions but reaffirmed Ukraine's strong partnership with the U.S. He invited Trump to visit Ukraine to witness the devastation caused by the war.

Another segment explored Trump's controversial desire to annex Greenland, with locals criticizing his ambitions. Trump reiterated his accusations against "60 Minutes" and CBS News, calling for their license to be revoked and threatening legal action over alleged election interference.
