A significant talent shift is underway within the Graham Media Group portfolio as veteran anchor Stephania Jimenez prepares to move from San Antonio’s KSAT to sister station KPRC in Houston. The transition represents a major career jump for Jimenez, moving from the nation’s 24th largest media market into the top ten, where she will take over the main anchor desk for the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts.

By elevating Jimenez to its Houston flagship, Graham Media group is keeping one of its most recognizable Texas faces within the company. Jimenez, a native of New York City, has spent years cultivating a deep understanding of the Texas landscape, having previously reported in El Paso and Corpus Christi before KSAT.

In a statement released by KPRC 2, Jimenez expressed her enthusiasm for the transition, describing Houston as a city defined by energy, heart, and incredible stories. She noted that she is honored to join the KPRC 2 team and intends to continue a style of journalism that focuses on serving the community and asking the questions that viewers are asking at home.
