Back in June, KVLY/Fargo informed their lead anchor Justin Betti that they were not picking up the option to extend his contract, adding another body to the revolving door.

Earlier this month, The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead (primary area newspaper) released their annual "Best of the Red River Valley", which is compiled from votes of area residents. The nominees for "Best TV News Anchor" were three anchors from WDAY (which is co-owned with the newspaper) and the ousted Betti as the only nominee from KVLY. 

Betti won.
