Yesterday, in FTVLive’s FREE newsletter, we wrote about how many on the media groups are so afraid of Trump and his administration, it feels like we are now getting out information from State Run Media.

Here is one email that we received in regards to our newsletter.

Hey Scott,

You're right on the money about media failing in their job to push back and hold accountable government leaders. I appreciate you saying something. With the exception of standouts like CNN's Kailtan Collins, it feels that most media (particularly local media groups) simply copy and paste the press releases without challenging assumptions, numbers, or spin. 

I'd also add Gray to the list of companies beginning to bow to the pressure, with subtle but disingenuous headlines like these:

It's particularly scary to see local media fall in lock step with the White House as we see more and more government agencies pushing partisan rhetoric. The public's options for credible information are shrinking by the day...

Lastly, this is who Trump says you should blame for the shutdown.
