Nexstar Stations Go Offline

An insider at Nexstar tells FTVLive that the Nexstar hub in Indianapolis had a power failure on Sunday evening, causing some of the hubbed stations to sit in black for the duration of the outage.

“The big loser was WOOD (Grand Rapids) who was unable to broadcast the Detroit Lions game for 40 minutes because apparently Nexstar doesn't want to invest in a functioning backup generator for a major broadcast hub,” the insider said.

The station posted about the incident on their website.

Below is a sampling of discrepancies from the affected stations, with the operator’s names redacted as it wasn't their fault.
